EV expansion: Calls to expand electric ferries

Much of the conversation around electric vehicles, or EVs, tends to focus on electric cars. 

But the head of a New Zealand marine technology consultancy says Australia must broaden its EV ambitions to include electrifying our public ferry services, or else risk the future of our local shipbuilding industry.
